Measurement display

1. Overview of the Measurement Display

The Measurement Display feature in Spector provides a visual overlay of measurement data on the inspected surface. This display includes numerical values and visual indicators that correspond to specific points on the surface, allowing for instant assessment of the data during inspections.

2. Activating the Measurement Display

  1. Launch the Spector App: Start by launching the Spector app and making sure your MR device is properly calibrated for the inspection environment.

  2. Select the Measurement Display Tool: In the main interface, navigate to the tools section and select the "Measurement Display" option. This will enable the display of measurement data on the surface being inspected.

3. Visualizing Measurement Data

  1. Data Points and Indicators: As the NDT process is conducted, the Measurement Display will show numerical values at specific points on the surface, along with visual indicators (e.g., arrows or cones) to highlight these points.

  2. Real-Time Updates: The displayed data is updated in real-time, ensuring that any changes in measurements are immediately reflected on the surface. This allows operators to quickly identify areas that meet or fall outside of specified thresholds.

4. Interpreting the Display

  1. Color-Coded Indicators: The visual indicators are color-coded to provide immediate feedback. For example, green indicators may represent acceptable values, while red indicators signal areas that need further attention.

  2. Data Context: The numerical values displayed can be set to show different units or scales, depending on the specific requirements of the inspection process.

5. Reviewing and Analyzing Data

  1. Post-Inspection Review: After the inspection, operators can review the measurement data collected and displayed during the process. This can be done directly in the Spector app or exported for further analysis.

  2. Data Export: The measurement data can be exported in various formats, allowing for comprehensive reporting and documentation.
