Updated Feature: Status Bar Color Indicators

  • Each defect status within the QC Dashboard now has a unique color associated with it. This visual aid is designed to help you quickly identify the status of defects at a glance.

  • The status bar, which is located at the top of each defect entry, will display color indicators corresponding to the current status of the defect.

Color Codes for Defect Status

  • Defect Identified: Red

  • Sent to PPS: Blue

  • Missing Information: Yellow

  • Disposition Given: Purple

  • Grinding (Repair): Orange

  • Lamination (Repair): Pink

  • QC Inspection: Green

  • Finished: Dark Green

  • Canceled: Grey

Navigation Changes

  • The 'open' button previously found in the header has been removed to simplify the interface.

  • The functionality of the 'open' button is now integrated into the color indicators. Clicking on the color indicator will provide detailed information about the defect, akin to the previous 'open' button action.

How to Use Color Indicators

  1. Viewing Defect Status:

    • Locate the status bar on the defect entry.

    • Identify the color of the status bar to understand the defect's current status.

  2. Accessing Defect Details:

    • To view more details about a defect, click directly on the colored status bar indicator.

    • A detailed view of the defect will be displayed, showing all pertinent information.

  3. Status Transition:

    • To update the status of a defect, use the drop-down menu or other input fields as usual.

    • The status bar will automatically update to reflect the new status color once the change is confirmed.

Tips for Efficient Use

  • Familiarize yourself with the color codes for a quicker assessment of defect statuses.

  • Use the color indicators to prioritize actions based on defect urgency and status.
