Repair Area Identification

Area 3: Main Laminate UW Inside

Repair Method

To conduct the necessary repairs on the Main Laminate UW Inside of Area 3, the following procedure, designated as GT80scarf100, must be followed meticulously to ensure structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.

Plies to Repair

Instructions for Repair

  1. Preparation: Ensure the affected area is clean, dry, and free from contaminants.

  2. Ply Removal: Carefully remove the damaged plies. Take note of the orientation and material type of each ply to facilitate accurate replacement.

  3. Ply Replacement: Cut the new plies to the appropriate size, following the dimensions and material specifications listed. Align the new plies according to the orientation indicated.

  4. Curing: After laying up the new plies, allow the repair to cure as per the specifications of the repair method GT80scarf100.

  5. Inspection: Once the repair is cured, inspect the area to ensure the integrity of the repair and that no defects are present.
